Two Events to Consider

October 15, 2014 | by: Jamie Mosley | 0 Comments

CalendarOctober presents Christians in Sumner County with two great events worthy of our consideration. I am always encouraged when good opportunities for our church come to town.

I want to inform you of these events. Both are in Hendersonville, affordable and the time commitment is minimal. I believe both of these can make a huge Kingdom impact here in our communities. I pray for each of them to bear fruit.

If you plan to attend either event, I encourage you to invite someone else to join you. It is always better to learn and be challenged in community.

Hope for a Family Conference
Faith families in Sumner, Robertson, Wilson, Macon and Trousdale counties will get specific information about how they can help meet the needs of children in state custody right in our own back yards. There are many ways for local churches to help. First Baptist Hendersonville, Long Hollow Baptist, the Middle Tennessee Orphan Alliance, and TN Department of Children's Services are sponsoring the event.

Love the Stranger Summit
The nations are coming to Nashville. There is a missional opportunity before us. The Summit is sponsored by World Relief Nashville and will feature speakers on topics that would help us as Christians live out the message of Leviticus 19:34/Matthew 25:35.
