The Arrival
From Matthew 1:18-25. The book of Matthew was written to tell the story of Jesus and to reveal who Jesus was and what He had done for His people. Today’s passage brings us to the beginning, to the arrival of our King. Matthew claims that Jesus is the Messiah, God’s chosen messenger to bring God’s kingdom. How does knowing the truth of this story re-orient how we relate to the Lord?
